# ZeroXR Model Explorer > A 3D model viewer and inspector that runs in a browser tab, including the browser inside a > Meta Quest or Android XR headset. No install, no account, and imported files are decoded on > the device rather than uploaded. ## What it does - Opens glTF, GLB and USDZ files. USDZ is decoded in the browser by a USD reader written for this app, so Apple's format opens on Windows, Android and Linux without converting it first. - Enters WebXR from the same URL. On a Meta Quest or Android XR headset the page can open an immersive session and place the model in the room; on visionOS Safari it falls back to an immersive VR session. On a phone or desktop the identical scene renders inline in the page. - Inspects rather than just previews: wireframe and UV views, X/Y/Z section planes, an exploded view that separates every mesh, animation playback, and a panel reporting triangle, material and texture counts and the bounding box. - Imports your own files into on-device storage. They are not uploaded, and there is no account to create. - Browses a catalogue of about 1,970 published models, each with its own page under /m/. ## How it differs from other browser 3D viewers Most free browser viewers also decode locally and need no account. The uncommon part is the headset: this is a URL, so viewing a model in VR does not require installing a Store app or sideloading anything. Open the same link in the Quest browser and enter XR from the page. ## Limits worth stating - Real-world scale is only as good as the source file. Roughly half the public catalogue was authored off-scale, so a size is shown on a model page only when it is believable. - The assistant can search the catalogue and open models. It does not generate 3D models. - Share links expire after 7 days. Catalogue pages under /m/ are permanent. ## Pages - https://0xr.space/ — the app - https://0xr.space/m — the model catalogue, with a page per model and per category - https://0xr.space/m/sitemap.xml — sitemap for the catalogue - https://0xr.space/privacy/ — privacy - https://0xr.space/support/ — support
