Open 0xr.space in the Quest browser or on a computer, press Open and choose the .las, .laz, .xyz, .pts, .asc or .pcd file, then press View in your space on the headset. The points are drawn as small round dots in their own colours, sized to the spacing between them, and you can walk through a room-sized cloud or shrink a site to a tabletop. LAZ is decompressed in the browser.

Limits worth knowing: a LAS or LAZ over 4 million points is thinned on opening, and a Quest draws at most 500,000 points at once, a desktop 2 million. The cloud is moved to its own centre, so survey coordinates are not kept. Intensity is not shown, so a cloud without RGB is white. E57 is not opened; export LAS or LAZ.

## Steps

1. Export the cloud as LAS, LAZ, XYZ, PTS or PCD. Crop it to the area you need; a smaller cloud keeps more of its detail on a headset.
2. Get the file onto the Quest by cloud drive or USB, into the Download folder.
3. Open 0xr.space, press Open and choose the file.
4. Press View in your space. Walk into a cloud up to 10 m across at 1:1; a larger site is shown scaled down, since a model is held between 10 cm and 10 m.

## Questions

### Does it open E57?

No. Convert it to LAS or LAZ, for example with CloudCompare.

### Why is my cloud white?

It has no RGB colour. Intensity is not turned into shading, so a cloud with only intensity shows every point white.

### Can I measure in the point cloud?

Not point to point. The cloud keeps its real scale, and one up to 10 m across can be stood in at 1:1, but there is no survey measuring tool.

### Can I share it with a link?

Not yet. A point cloud stays on the device it was opened on.
