The national flag of Nepal is a unique and distinctive symbol, featuring a crimson red background with blue borders and consists of two stacked triangular shapes. The flag's two triangles represent the Himalayan Mountains and also symbolize the two major religions, Hinduism and Buddhism, that coexist in Nepal. It is one of the only national flags that is not rectangular in shape. The crimson red symbolizes bravery and the blue border signifies peace.
