Open 0xr.space and press Scan, the round button in the middle of the dock. Point the camera at the object: everyday things such as a cup, bottle, bowl, laptop, keyboard, phone, book, vase, plant or fruit, and larger ones such as a chair or a sofa, get a box with their name. Tap the box and the thing is cut out of the picture and made 3D with Photo → 3D, usually in one to two minutes. Its card has Find similar, which searches your device and the Gallery for that name.
Photo → 3D guesses the far side, so the back of the model is a best guess. Naming works best in good light, with the thing on its own and facing the camera. If no boxes appear, QR codes still read. Scan is experimental and not available in every country.
Things you pick up, such as cups, bottles, glasses, bowls, cutlery, phones, keyboards, mice, laptops, books, clocks, vases, plants, fruit, bags, umbrellas, scissors, teddy bears and balls, and furniture such as chairs, sofas, beds and tables.
See the privacy page at https://0xr.space/privacy/ for what the camera features send and keep.
Scan is not available right now, the room is too dark, or the thing is not one it knows. QR codes are still read.
The picture is kept on Home as a card, with Kept on Home. 3D is not available right now., to make 3D later.
