Open 0xr.space in the Quest browser, press Open and choose the .ifc, then press View in your space. The building is read in the browser by web-ifc and drawn in its own colours, with glass see-through, in metres. Shrink it to a tabletop model to show a client, and cut it open with a section plane. It also opens on a computer or an ARCore phone.
It shows geometry only. Element names, properties, types and storeys are not kept, so you cannot click a wall to read its data or hide a storey. The model is moved to its own origin, so its georeference is not kept. A model is held between 10 cm and 10 m on its longest side, so a building larger than 10 m cannot be shown at 1:1. Buildings over 4 million triangles are refused.
No. Only the geometry and colours are read; element data is not kept.
Only if it is 10 m or less on its longest side, such as a single room or a small pavilion. A whole building is shown at a smaller scale, as a tabletop model.
Yes. Create a share link and send it; it opens on their phone, computer or headset for 30 days, without the IFC file.
Not unless you create a share link. Opening and viewing it happen on the device.
