Open the model on 0xr.space, press Section in the dock and choose X Plane, Y Plane or Z Plane. A plane cuts the model halfway along that axis and everything on one side of it disappears, so you see inside. Drag the round knob under the plane to slide the cut, and press Flip to cut away the other side instead. It works the same on a computer, on an Android phone and in VR on Meta Quest.
The cut is drawn, not built: the cut faces are not filled in, so a solid part shows as a hollow shell. The plane follows the model's own axes, not the room's, and cannot be tilted. Gaussian splats and point clouds cannot be cut, and Section is greyed out while the model is being placed in the room.
Any model opened as a mesh: GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, FBX, USDZ, STEP, IFC and the other mesh formats. Gaussian splats and point clouds cannot.
No. The model is clipped at the plane, so you look into the inside of its surfaces rather than at a solid face.
No. The plane follows one of the model's three axes. Turn the model to look at the cut from any side.
No. It is read on the device, and nothing is sent to a server unless you create a share link yourself.
