The IBM PCjr 4863 is a cut-down version of the IBM PC released by IBM in November 1983. It had less expandability and less computational power than the PC; it was available in desktop and tower configurations. It featured a stylish two-tone, slate-gray color, and priced lower than the PC. The PCjr did not achieve commercial success and was discontinued in 1985.
