Open 0xr.space, press Open and choose one photo of the object, as a JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP or GIF. It becomes a card on Home and Photo → 3D starts by itself: an AI model builds a textured 3D model from it, and the result is saved to your library under the time it was made, such as Scan 10 Oct 14:05. The card reads Building the 3D model, usually for one to two minutes, on a phone, a computer or a Meta Quest. No account is needed.
One photo shows one side, so the far side is guessed, not captured, and the model has no measured size. Each device and network can build 20 a day and 3 a minute. HEIC and TIFF photos do not open; save them as JPEG first. Photo → 3D is not available in every country.
See the privacy page at https://0xr.space/privacy/ for what the camera features send and keep. The photo and the finished model stay in your library on Home, where you can delete them.
One photo cannot show the back, so it is guessed. Opening 20 or more photos taken all round the object makes a Gaussian splat instead, when splat builds are available.
20 a day for each device and network, and no more than 3 a minute. When the day's are spent the card says “Today’s AI scans are used up. Try again tomorrow.” and keeps the photo.
The builder could not find one clear object: the card says Could not build a model from this photo. Try a clearer shot of one object on a plain background and open that.
The builder is not taking jobs, or Photo → 3D is not offered in your country. The photo is kept on Home as a card, so you can try again later.
