Film a slow circle round one object, open 0xr.space, press Open and choose the video, as MP4, WebM, MOV or M4V. The build starts by itself. On a phone or computer, All photos → 3D splat builds a Gaussian splat in a few minutes. On a Quest, Photo → 3D builds a textured model from the sharpest frame.
The splat builder is switched off at times; the card then says “The 3D builder is not taking builds right now. Try again in a while.”, and Photo → 3D on its menu still builds from one frame. Photo → 3D guesses the far side, and each device and network can make 20 a day.
See the privacy page at https://0xr.space/privacy/ for what the camera features send and keep.
Any length. A long clip is sampled evenly, so ten to thirty seconds of slow, steady filming all round the object is enough.
On a headset the splat gives way to Photo → 3D, because the page is swapped when you move between Home and the room. All photos → 3D splat is still on the capture card's menu.
MP4, WebM, MOV and M4V. A clip the browser cannot decode says “This video could not be read. Try an MP4 or WebM.”
Not yet. A splat stays on the device, and cannot be downloaded as GLB, STL or USDZ.
