Model Explorer by ZeroXR

How to view 3D models on iPhone and iPad

Open 0xr.space in Safari, press Open and choose a file from Files, or tap a model in the gallery. It opens in the on-screen viewer: drag to turn it, pinch with two fingers to scale it, and use the dock for Section, Style, Explode and Info. GLB, glTF, USDZ, STL, OBJ, FBX and many other formats open the same way.

There is no AR or VR on iPhone or iPad here: Safari does not give web pages an immersive AR session, so a model cannot be placed in your room from the website. What the iPhone can do is press Send to your headset to show a QR code, and open the model on a Meta Quest or an Android phone that has AR.

Questions

Can I see the model in AR on my iPhone?

Not from 0xr.space. Safari has no WebXR AR for web pages. Use an Android phone with ARCore, or a Meta Quest.

Does it open USDZ?

Yes, in the viewer on the screen, the same as a GLB.

Why is Send to your headset missing on a splat?

A Gaussian splat cannot be sent as a link yet; copy the file to the headset instead.

Is my file uploaded?

No. It is read on the device. Send to your headset uploads the model to make its link, and only when you press it.
