Open 0xr.space in Chrome on Galaxy XR, press Open and choose a GLB, glTF folder, USDZ, OBJ, STL or FBX, then press View in your space. Chrome on Android XR runs WebXR immersive-AR and immersive-VR sessions through OpenXR, on by default since Chrome 129, so the model can stand in your room with nothing to install.
This is a dated note, not a tested claim: as of 20 October 2026 the viewer has entered XR on XREAL Aura glasses running Android XR, not yet on a Galaxy XR. Three things differ from a Quest. The Model Explorer app on Google Play is still in closed testing, so use Chrome. Chrome does not say it is a headset, so the lighter copy a Quest makes of a heavy model is not made. And Galaxy XR recenters the room on its own, which may move a placed model.
One is built for Android XR, but as of October 2026 it is in closed testing on Google Play and not public. Chrome opens the same site.
Galaxy XR comes with both. Chrome's WebXR support on Android XR is documented; Samsung Internet's has not been checked.
Maybe not. On Quest and Pico a model over the budget is shown as a lighter copy; Chrome on Galaxy XR does not identify itself as a headset, so the model is drawn as it is.
No. It is decoded on the device, and nothing is sent to a server unless you create a share link yourself.
