Open 0xr.space in Chrome on the Aura, open a GLB, glTF folder, USDZ, OBJ, STL, FBX or one of more than 50 file types, and press View in your space. The model is placed in the room, and Scale, then 1:1 Size, shows it at the size it was authored. It is a web page, so there is nothing to install, and the file is read on the device rather than uploaded.
As of 8 October 2026 the Aura has not reached buyers. XREAL has priced it at $1,279 (12 GB, 256 GB) and $1,499 (16 GB, 512 GB), with pre-orders opening later in October and the first deliveries before the holidays in the US, Canada, Japan and South Korea. It runs Android XR, and Google documents Chrome there as supporting WebXR immersive-AR sessions, hit testing, anchors, depth sensing and hand input, which is what this viewer uses. It has not yet been tried on a retail Aura; this page will be updated once it has.
The Aura's display adds light to the room, so black and very dark colours cannot be drawn and show as transparent. Dim the room or turn the model toward a plain wall for a clearer view. A headset with camera passthrough, such as Meta Quest, does not have this limit.
No. Chrome is the only thing required, because the viewer is a web page.
Yes. The same page places the same model in your room today in the Meta Quest 3 browser and in Chrome on an ARCore Android phone.
No. It is decoded and stored on the device by the browser, and nothing is sent to a server unless you create a share link yourself.
